INDIANAPOLIS, 24 avril 2019 — Dans le cadre de la quête mondiale d'électrification dans le secteur des véhicules industriels, Allison Transmission, un leader mondial de solutions de propulsion pour le transport de marchandises, a annoncé le développement d'essieux extrêmement efficaces et puissants pour les véhicules électriques.
Le système de propulsion de la série AXE d’Allison fournira des solutions électriques viables et adaptées au marché. Lancé à l’Expo 2019 à Long Beach (Californie), le groupe motopropulseur électrique de la série AXE sera intégré au camion électrique de classe 8 de Peterbilt, le modèle 579EV, pour évaluation et test. Le véhicule de 1 475 ch (1 100 kW), offrira ainsi des performances et une efficacité inégalées sur le marché.
