全球最大的客车制造企业宇通自2002年就开始与艾里逊合作。该公司在出口澳大利亚的校车、通勤车和旅游车中配置了艾里逊Torqmatic® 系列中的T2100, T280R 以及T390R全自动变速箱以适用不同的车型和客户需求,输入总功率范围从172一直到283 kW。另一家著名的中国客车企业安凯则在墨西哥一家国营公交公司最近举行的招投标中脱颖而出,为其提供配备艾里逊T280R全自动变速箱的天然气公交车。
